Scott planted this zucchini growing experiment. The zucchini growing with the protection of a black plastic barrier and copper taped to the top of the slug barrier (now called 'zucchini castle') and a zucchini with no slug protection. Which one will survive? Which one will thrive? This may be a slug experiment or an experiment to see what happens when you have two plants of the same variety and one is loved more than the other - the zucchini castle has definitely deepened Scott's affection towards that particular plant.
