Scott planted this zucchini growing experiment. The zucchini growing with the protection of a black plastic barrier and copper taped to the top of the slug barrier (now called 'zucchini castle') and a zucchini with no slug protection. Which one will survive? Which one will thrive? This may be a slug experiment or an experiment to see what happens when you have two plants of the same variety and one is loved more than the other - the zucchini castle has definitely deepened Scott's affection towards that particular plant.

Plants were potted to celebrate and inspire the crew with their simple elegant beauty. With the warm weather and healing rains these plants have the potential to burst forth a bounty of foliage and flowers - and they usually do.
