It rains a lot in November in the North West Coast. The clouds get close creating a comforting cozy feeling for true Coasters.

Scott got the urge to put in the new door that has been needed for Hawk House. Here it is installed. Nice. The crew is really enjoying the increased light brought to them by the window.

One of the challenges of having a hand built road is making sure that the drainage is working properly. The amount of water that comes down in the Winter can easily wash out some Ecovillage roads, so managing the drainage is an important and surprisingly fun job.

It is kind of like when you were a kid and you get to play in the water all day long making canals and playing with mud. The Ecovillagers had a great day and the water is flowing appropriately.

Yes the monsoons are what keep this part of the world so incredibly lush. The life-giving waters are a blessing.
