We are preparing for the future. This is our brand new buoy and 2 ton anchor block. Soon we will have the Ecovillage commuter boat moored on it. For now we just enjoy the sight of it bobbing in the bay.
Darci getting the healing of the Ecovillage. Nice to be out of the city.
Cloe creates a teeter totter with one of the fallen alder trees.
Meanwhile at the well...Krista, Cloe and Scott investigate this years froggie brood.
One of the local inhabitants enjoying the crisp clear waters of our open well after creating the next generation.
And here is the next generation. Many frog eggs with tadpoles squiggling inside of them tell us that our waters are toxin free and supporting new life.
Krista excited to find the rhubarb she planted last year vigorously growing this Spring.
A late night cup of tea at Hawk House, it is good to be home.
Scott enjoying the night air on the deck.
The Ecovillage crew always attempts to identify flora and fauna, anybody know what this flower is? Deb thinks it might be a Currant.
We cross Masset Creek on our walk up to the Ecovillage. It sweetly babbles away.
Cloe is our resident salamander recovery personnel. We are running across many of these little guys as we work the land. They are coming in a wide range of colours. This nice brown fellow was found on a recent trip but we have also found them with red strips down their backs and black and white spots.
Cloe just asks them to climb onto her glove, and they do every time, so that she doesn't have to physically pick them up, which could hurt them.
Cloe enjoying the flow of Masset Creek.
Gandalf is looking well this Spring. Scott and Cloe have a visit.
Gandalf's partner Shadowfax, the big Maple tree, makes a nice swing.
And of course a power meditation spot as well.
One day our sanctuary will be on top of this magical hill. It already exists energetically.
As you ascend to the ecovillage the intention is to raise your spiritual vibration.
The ascension bell ritual was created to assist ecovillagers and visitors in raising their energy vibration in order to be on the sacred land. As one walks up the incline to the ecovillage you ring bells that raise in vibration as you go. The intention of the journeyer is to match that vibration.
The ascension bells are hung from trees that hang over the path. Getting the twine over the high limbs was one of the tricks of the installation.
The old tie the twine to the rock and throw it over trick worked well.
Now to hoist the bells.
The ritual crew did a dedication for each bell as they were installed.
This long stick was essential as they installed the bells.
The ascension bells hang high up in the trees. Here is Cloe testing one.
Ascension bell number 3 working fine.
Scott practicing matching the bells vibration.
Tiffany enthusiastically ascends.
A satisfying ritual indeed.
Tiffany, Scott and Cloe head back to the city after an awesome day of high vibration ascension bell fun.
