The crew consisted of Scott, Cloe and Krista. It was the third Sunday of the month, at the Ecovillage now know as....The Day of Rest. 'How do we do it?' they asked. 'Well I guess we'll find out.'
The load on and off of the water taxi was simple, one bag each, unusual for this crew but trying to following the new guideline of...The Day of Rest, they decided it was best to pack light.
Scott and Cloe enjoying the boat ride. It was good to have Cloe back on the land after her time away in Japan.
Ah, the glorious deck extension and roof. Scott, not use to the concept of the day of rest got on his hands and knees and began sanding the deck boards and then applied a layer of stain. 5 boards was his limit because it is suppose to be his Day of Rest.
Oh the stain on the stairs and deck done the previous weekend was looking beautiful, giving the wood a warm hue of autumn orange.
The deck staining in process.
Here is the rest part of the Day of Rest...Krista leads a Facial Ritual.
Scott soaking in the third step of the facial, the clay mask.
Cloe's, almost dry just a little wet on the nose.
Krista trying to smile, in this case it may be appropriate to say, Krista cracked a smile!
Cloe at the Water Temple site.
Ohh, a little frog.
At the garden Cloe and Scott harvested some raspberries.
And tomatoes.
Food grown on the land tastes so sweet.
Cloe reconstructs her spirit house beside Hawk House. This was the first Day of Rest and rest was had by all.
