The Ecovillage trees were being nurtured by the West Coast winter days pulling the moisture from the air directly into their bodies. The crew of 7 Ecovillagers experienced the familiar sigh of relief upon arrival at the sacred land.

The Ecovillage team embarks on the Rolly-Polly job of moving the 4 thousand litre water tank to a higher ground. This will provide gravity feed water pressure to both the cabin and the cob structure.

Next to devise a temporary catchment system so we can start filling the tank back up again with the winter and spring rains.

If the catchment tarp stays in position through the high winds this should work well. The rain hitting the tarp and flowing directly into our tank. Catchment is such a beautiful thing.
